First destination was a remote area in the San Rafael Swell called The Wedge, which features an overlook into the Little Grand Canyon and the San Rafael River.

After Arches, next destination was Canyons of the Ancients National Monument in Colorado. We camped two nights on the edge of Sand Canyon, and hiked to more Ancestral Pueobloan sites during the day.
